Woman Left All Alone In The World After Losing Son AND Husband Three Days Apart to Deadly Virus

She watched their last rites through the car window due to health-related restrictions.
We, as a global family, are trying to do our best to stay strong and positive during this time of distress and emergency. But every now and then, stories of families being torn apart and loved ones departing forever is making us more aware of the pain and loneliness associated with the pandemic.
A mother and wife from Michigan who recently lost her family to coronavirus related complications says there aren't any words that could describe how she feels, PEOPLEreported.
As per PEOPLE, their obituaries state that Freddie Brown Jr., 59, died on March 26, while their son, Freddie Brown III, 20, died on March 29.
“There’s not even a word created to describe my pain,” Brown’s widow Sandy Brown told The Detroit News. “It’s unimaginable.”
As per PEOPLE, this started during mid-March when Brown who had had a kidney transplant in 2012, started feeling sick. He was taken to the hospital but they sent him back home because he did not meet the CDC criteria for testing, reported WEYI.
But soon his condition worsened. He was rushed back to the hospital and placed in a ventilator under a medically induced coma. Freddie Brown Jr couldn't be saved and he passed away. But life wasn't done throwing curveballs at Sandy. Just one day after Brown's tragic demise, her asthmatic son fell ill and had to be admitted to the hospital, where he passed away too.
As per The Detroit News, Sandy sang lullabies to her son on Facetime and tried to calm him down, a day before he passed away.
Imagine losing a husband and a son within just three days. It is as if, destiny didn't even give her the time to save her family, in a blink of an eye, she woke up to loneliness and pain.
They called Freddie III the "miracle child" because he was born to Sandy at the age of 40 after two miscarriages, according to The Detroit News. Her "Boopie" and her "Sonny Red" was her only child who she lost within a moment.
“In three days, I lost my husband and son to an ugly plague,” the bereaved mom said later. “I watched my son go from completely well and whole and happy to being gone in three days.”
“You feel helpless,” said Andy Torok, who coached the younger Freddie when he played football for Grand Blanc High School. “You can’t go to the house and tell them it’s going to be all right.”

In a moving obituary, Sandy paid an emotional tribute to her "honey" of 35 years and "sonny". “The most loving and caring man she’d ever met (her honey). Lucky treated Sandy like a queen and he was always a perfect gentleman,” his obituary said. “Together, they traveled the country. They had plans to grow old and gray together, but God had a greater plan and we bow to his will.”
While Sandy live-streamed their funerals on Facebook, she had to watch their burial through a car window due to health restrictions.
“It seems so unfair,” she told the News of her husband, who was an elder at the church, and son. “I can’t even give them a proper burial. I just have to put them into a box and put them into a hole.”

As per The Detroit News, Brown's widow said that she is leaning on faith to help herself brave through this tough time.
“Medical science says I should be traumatized. I had a traumatic experience twice. I should be banging my head against the wall,” she said. “But God said no. I’m standing here in the strength of the Lord, not strength of my own. God has got me.”
